Beatrice Begley Bottom, 88, passed away Thursday May 31, 2018. She was born July 16, 1929 in Lebanon, KY a daughter of the late Lewis and Lena Burns Begley. She was the wife of the late Edward Bottom who passed in 1998.Beatrice was a seamstress with the former Palm Beach Company. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed UK sports. She also enjoyed playing horseshoes and bowling.Survivors include two children, Phyllis Wright, Edward Lynn (Christeen) Bottom, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Beatrice was preceded in death by a son, James Richard “Rick” Bottom, son-in-law Larry Wright, two brothers, Otha Reed Begley, Clifford Begley and a sister Pauline Alsip.The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday June 4, 2018 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Bro. Jami Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 3, 2018. Pallbearers will be Brandon Bottom, Michaela Montgomery, Justin Yeast, Joey Peyton, Jeff May and Damon Norris.Honorary bearers will be Tim Morris and Bobby Joe Wheeler.Memorial contributions are requested to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
