"Walden Funeral Home was amazing. They got with us as soon as our loved one passed and made the process easier. They are very helpful and knowledgeable in the field. Some of the most kind, loving, sweet people you will ever meet. David helped me so much from the minor details all the way up to the big ones. They are very affordable too. I would highly recommend them. They felt like part of the family, and they took care of everything. They definitely made it easier for me to concentrate on my grief and not have to worry about a thing. Updates were given and everything was perfect."

" Walden Funeral Home is so caring and helpful. We have used them more than one time and definitely will again. They are so professional and met all of our needs. They are very helpful in helping us pick out the items to make the funeral so good. They let you decide what items you want, after they explained in detail and answered all of our questions. I would recommend them to everyone. They are honest, good caring people."

" Walden Funeral Home treated us like family. They were so kind and courteous to us during the difficult time of my mother's passing. David made sure that all of my mother's requests and last wishes were met. Lea Ellen did an amazing job making my mother look as she did before she got sick. In the hard and troubling time of losing a love one, I couldn't think of any Funeral Home that's better than Walden Funeral Home. I will never be able to thank them enough for the loving and amazing care they took of my mother."

" On May 7, 2020 when my son passed away from injuries in a motorcycle accident. There was no question who I was going to call to take care of my child. Walden Funeral Home! I became acquainted with this family a few years ago when my brother passed away. The care and compassion that was shown to us during this difficult time was not forgotten. The death of someone you love is not easy, but I am so thankful for the kindnesss and the genuine condolences that David and his family shown us. As with my brother, I felt like he went above and beyond what he had to do. The love and compassion shown during this difficult time is a witness to their Faith."

" Our family came to Walden Funeral Home with the death of our father. Our family has always been close and even though he was 96 years old, we were all pretty devastated. Mr. Walden made the process before the funeral just a little bit easier. He seemed to know what we were thinking before we could ask. We would have never known about the VA benefits for our father, if he hadn't questioned us, and they were exceptional. We can not give Mr. Walden, his wife, and staff enough praise for the way they handled the death of our father. The sincere sympathy and compassion that they showed each of us at during one of the most difficult times of our lives. They were a true 'Blessing'."

"I can't thank you enough for how you treated our family after Dad went home to be with the Lord. You were so attentive to the details both big and small and helped walk us through everything. Whether it was tracking down Dad's discharge papers from the military or suggesting putting out Twinkies for people coming to the visitation, you went above and beyond what we expected. I know you never met Dad, but it felt like you knew him and we felt like a part of your family. It is wonderful that God has put people like you here to help make difficult times like this just a bit easier. Thank you for helping us honor the memory of our Dad until God calls us home to see him again."

They are not just in the business of burying people, but they truly strive to serve the grieving loved ones left behind. I want everyone to know that David & Lea Ellen are amazing Christians with a heart to serve people when they are the most broken and vulnerable. Their services went far beyond a funeral. "My name is Lois Leffew Adrio. When my Sister Freda Leffew went to be with her Heavenly family. I automatically called Wilder's.(It is pretty sad when you can repeat a funeral's home number off the top of your head) . As many of you know, I have had many deaths in our family. I have been to many funerals in my life time, and knew what to expect from the funeral director. I had only met David and his Son once, since they took over from Mary Ann and Mike. And that was at Evelyn Gibson's grave side service who died on Feb 10 and was laid to rest Feb 13, of this year. I knew then he was very professional. David, his wife and son took me under their wings and help me make Freda's Homecoming the sweetest thing that I had to get together. I only mentioned a few things about Freda and to my surprise they added the butterflies and Coffee cups and other things that I wasn't expecting to the service. They worked with me on the arrangement to stay within a budget that I thought I could afford, but would be beautiful for Freda. They made sure that her hair and nails and accessories was to my liking before the visitation. Everything that David and his family did was up to the highest standards that anyone would expect. If you are ever in need of a Funeral Home. I encourage you to Call David Walden and his family at Wilder's Funeral Home and let them have the opportunity to serve you, or stop in and discuss your arrangement before you are faced with a unexpected death. I will never be able to repay them for helping me with Freda's homecoming. That was done with dignity and respect."
