Obituary for Sandy Turner
Sandy Turner, 56, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020. Sandy was born in Roxboro, North Carolina, on Feb. 14, 1964, a daughter of the late Robert and Lillian Turner. Sandy was a daughter and friend to many and deeply cared for those who were close to her.
She was a faithful Christian who exhibited Christ’s love and care to everyone she met. She attended Herrington Lake Pentecostal Church, where she was a church secretary. Sandy worked on computers as well, however, she loved socializing with those around her the most.
She is survived by her many friends; Susie Bradshaw, Bobby & Tammy Bradshaw, David & Anna Bradshaw, Johnny & Laura King, Jerry & Teresa Smothers, and her special friend; Bea & Michael Moore and their 4 children, Joseph, Andrew, John, and Sarah.
The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday June 19, 2020 at Herrington Lake Pentecostal Church with Pastors Larry Holbrook and Mark Tolson officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville.
Pallbearers are Andrew and John Moore, Gil Lay, Arthur Whitehead, Justin and Jerry Smothers. Honorary bearers are Michael and Joseph Moore, and Johnny King.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions are suggested to WDFB Radio Station.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic it is suggested that masks are worn, social distancing is adhered to, and that there is limited physical contact between guests.
