Ruby A. Young, 96, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. She was born in Boyle County on November 17, 1921, a daughter of the late Shelby and Ila Hair Arnold and was the widow of Ralph Young.Ruby attended Wesley Chapel Methodist Church and was a homemaker.Survivors include two daughters, Donna Phillips and Cheryl Y. Shute, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband Ruby is preceded in death by her three sons Joe F. Young, Tom B. Young and John W. Young.A celebration of Ruby’s life will be at Walden Funeral Home Perryville, Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 1:30-4:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 4:15 p.m., at Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville.
