Obituary for Ruby Cox Wofford
Ruby Cox Wofford, 77, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020. Ruby was born June 20, 1943 in Chester, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Lewis and Nancy Mastin Cox.
Ruby was a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church in Danville and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were a great joy to her and she enjoyed cooking.
Survivors include two children, Rick (Frankie) Wofford, Pamela Stevens, six grandchildren, Jeremy Wofford, Nikki Rothwell, Rusty Rothwell, Justin Stevens, Crystal Stevens, Jayme Wofford, ten great-grandchildren, and three siblings, Alice Belcher, Barbara Hunt, and Johnny Cox.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Wofford and six siblings, Lewis Cox, Jr., James Cox, Billy Cox, George Cox, Jesse Cox, and Jackie Cox.
A private memorial service celebrating Ruby's life will be held at Walden Funeral Home in Perryville.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions everyone in attendance must wear a mask and maintain social distancing at all times.
Services are under the direction of Walden Funeral Home Perryville.
