Rev. Ronald Louis Moroni, 82, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021. Ron was born in Creal Springs, Illinois July 19, 1939 a son to the late Louis and Edith Perry Moroni, Jr. He was the widower of Shelby Burger Moroni.
Ron was a bi-vocational Minister for most of his life. For twenty-three years he was the pianist for Perryville Presbyterian Church and also enjoyed playing the piano at various nursing homes and other venues. He was a sixty-year member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge #28 and former member of the Perryville Lions Club.
Survivors are two brothers-in-law, Harold (Kathy) Jones, Darrell (Kevin) Burger, a sister-in-law, Sue Durham Burger, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Bro. Jr. Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 14, 2021 starting at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Walden Funeral Home.
Masonic Rites will be held at 12:30 p.m., Thursday at Walden Funeral Home.
