Phyllis Jean Bottom Wright, 74, passed away July 19, 2022. Phyllis was born March 11, 1948 in Lebanon, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice Begley Bottom and was the widow of Larry Wright who passed away September 5, 2017.
Phyllis was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She cherished her family and loved her children and grandchildren greatly. Phyllis never met a stranger and had a wonderful sense of humor. She recently was thrilled to be expecting her first great-grandchild, Baby Whitaker (Bean).
Survivors include three daughters, Rosalind (Bruce) Pheasant, Rebecca Bishop (Damon Norris), Maegan (Jerry) Coffman, four grandchildren, Justin (Shelby) Yeast, Alexander (Brooke) Montgomery, Natalia Nicole Jolie, Kinley Hunt, a brother Lynn Bottom and her beloved fur babies, her dog, Maya Mae and her cat, Graycee.
In addition to her husband and parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Bottom.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday July 23, 2022 at Perryville Baptist Church with Bro. Benny McCarty officiating. Visitation will also be at Perryville Baptist Church on Saturday July 23rd from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Justin Yeast, Alexander Montgomery, Brandon Bottom, Bobby Joe Wheeler, Damon Norris and Rick (Willie) Simmerman.
Honorary bearers will be Natalia Jolie, Kinley Hunt, Evan Whitaker, James “Turtle” Rector and Brooke Montgomery.
