Obituary

Pauline Sims, 91, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019. She was born March 10, 1928 in Garrard County, Kentucky, a daughter, of the late James and Stella Franklin Middleton and was the widow of the late Walter Sims.
Pauline attended the First Church of God. She was a clerk at Fort Knox and also did advertising for the former Hub-Frankel store in Danville. She enjoyed entertaining in her home, cooking, gardening, fishing and golfing. Mostly, she loved to be with her family and friends.
Pauline is survived by a daughter, Carrie L. Sims (Scott Tymensky), two grandchildren, Hunter May, Samantha May (Akeem Ray), a great-granddaughter, Aerielle Ray, and a brother, Gene (Shirley) Middleton.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Pete and Cline Middleton, and three sisters, Edith Hogue, Bertha Connor, and Agnes Johnson.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m., (noon) – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville. Burial will be private.
Pauline’s family would like to express their gratitude to Geneva Hogue for her friendship and loving care she provided for Pauline.
