Obituary for PaisLeigh Hurst

PaisLeigh Elizabeth Grace Hurst, 7, passed away Sunday August 15, 2021. She was born May 7, 2014 to Toby (Maggie) Hurst and Jennifer (Jordan) Long of Harrodsburg.
PaisLeigh attended Mercer County Elementary School and she loved Baby Yoda. She loved her dogs, Rosie, Skye and Bo, soccer, demolition derbies and every moment playing with her brothers and sisters, friends and family. She had a very special friend, Dillion Carmichael that she would listen to sing for hours and special teacher, Wendy Sherrow.
In addition to her parents, Paisleigh is survived by siblings, Dawson Hurst, Lacy Hurst, Madison Mackie, Hannah Hightower, Addison Dowell, Braxton Archer, Harlan Sexton, her grandparents, Ricky (Teresa) Gilliam, Jeff (Melissa) Reardon, Donna Mackie, Tony (Cheryl) Sexton, Roger (Sandy) Long and Carolyn (Billy) McGinnis, Thelma Jewell Reardon, and Helen Baugh, aunts and uncles, Greg (Dana) Coffman, Chris (Avanda) Coffman, Jarrod, Lori, Kayla Reardon, Rachel (Devon) Majors, Jamie(Brittany) Long, Josh (Ashley) Collier, Amy (Jeremy) Riddle, Dishon Gilliam, Brenda (Daniel) Mudd, Neil (Kim) Sexton, Russ (Christina) Sexton, and Persia (Daniel) Ormond.
Preceding PaisLeigh in death are grandmother, Verna Hurst, great grandfather, Ernest Baugh, brother, Palmer Grant Long, uncle, Mikey Salvia, and aunt, Dale Anne Boyle.
The funeral service and burial will be will be private. Public visitation will be from 3:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday August 17, 2021 at Southside Christian Church in Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are Billy Sparks, Kipp Hurst, Greg Coffman, Blake Norton, Jeremy Johnson, and Chris Coffman.
Honorary bearers are Dawson Hurst, Braxton Archer, Harlan Sexton, Devon Majors, Josh Collier, and Dishon Gilliam.
Memorial contributions are requested to UK Children’s Hospital or Pediatric Cancer Research.
Services are under the direction of Walden Funeral Home Perryville.
