Obituary for Mary Thelma Conder (Holt)
Mary T. Holt Conder, 84, beloved wife of 69 years to Howard Lee Conder, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019. Mary was born in Marion County on November 22, 1934 to the late James O. and Ethel Mae Tate Holt.
Mary was a member of Manna Harvest Church in Gravel Switch. She greatly enjoyed flowers, going to the creek with her grandchildren, browsing through yard sales and Howard says she was a better tobacco stripper than anybody. She loved her family and will be dearly missed.
Survivors, in addition to her loving husband are 8 children, Mary Ann (Ronald) Douglas, Jerry (Becky) Conder, Neal (Pat) Conder, Judy (Jeff) Sparks, Bobby (Anna) Conder, Gary (Barbara) Conder, Ricky (Debbie) Conder, son-in-law, Ronnie Lee, brother, Stephen Holt, 13 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Lee and brother, Raymond Holt.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Jerry Lanham, Jeff Sparks and Ronnie Lee officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m., until the time of the service at 2:00p.m. Burial will be private.
Pallbearers will be Joe, Ernie, Derrick, Travis Conder, Jeffrey and Josh Sparks.
Honorary bearers are Jeremy, John, Kasey, Matt, Kelsey Conder, Angela Moore and Tina Gorley.
