Obituary for Marvin Caldwell

Marvin Caldwell, 68, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Marvin was born January 22, 1953 in Parksville, Kentucky a son of the late Clarence and Beulah Mae King Caldwell.
Marvin was a self-employed carpenter and was always very generous to help others with his time and talent. He was known for making his homemade jelly and he was a beekeeper. His passion was hunting and fishing and being outdoors. He was a hard worker who enjoyed spending time with his family and visiting at the Marathon Station in Perryville with his friends.
Survivors include his four children, Brian (Chasity) Caldwell, Andrew Caldwell, Nathan Caldwell, Katie (T.J.) Allen, seven grandchildren, Maddie and Emily Caldwell, Colt Caldwell, Rayleigh and Presleigh Allen, Lakin Hardy, Aubree Schneider and two brothers, Eddie (Barbara) Caldwell and Gary (Willena) Caldwell. Also surviving are special family, Connie Johnson, Leigh Ann Caldwell and Heather Caldwell Schneider and brother-in-law Dud Releford.
In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by three sisters, Violet and Jewel Caldwell and Dolly Releford.
The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Perryville Baptist Church with Bro. Stacy Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Elder Cemetery in Casey County. Visitation will be at Perryville Baptist Church Friday November 19, 2021 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral.
Pallbearers will be Steve Bailey, David Gibson, Dud Releford, Scott Galloway, Scott Sexton, Lee Comley, Steve McCrystal, Parker Hatter and Tom Baker.
Honorary bearers will be John Dotson, Trino Sanchez, Cleo Taylor, John Goins, Kyle Bailey and Nick Patton.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association.
Services are under the direction of Walden Funeral Home Perryville, Kentucky.
