Obituary

Martha Gleneva Cox Lamb, 93, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020. Martha was born March 1, 1927 in Boyle County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Edward and Lessie Webb Cox. She married Garnice Lamb on October 3, 1946 and they spent 68 years together before he passed in 2014.
Martha was a member of Mitchellsburg Baptist Church where she was the Treasurer for over 30 years. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and quilting.
Survivors include her children, Charles Gary Lamb, Katy (MT) Meaney, Karen Suzanne (Jimmy) Coffman, seven grandchildren, Bryan (Stacy) Lamb, Melanie Terry, Scott (Akemi) Meaney, Pam Abdallah, Daniel (Debbie) Meaney, Benjamin Coffman, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Mitchellsburg Baptist Church with Pastor Brett Benton officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m., (noon) until the time of service. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville.
Pallbearers will be Dickie Lamb, Ben and Jimmy Coffman, Carl Leffew, Jerry Edwards, and M.T. Meaney.
Memorial contributions are requested to Gideons International P.O. Box 591 Danville, KY 40423-0591.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we ask that all visitors obey the social distancing guidelines. We also recommend masks be worn and that everyone limit physical contact with each other. We want to ensure the health and safety of all family and visitors.

Martha was such a sweet person; she will most definitely be missed by those that knew & loved her.
I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to know her; wish I had got to enjoy more time with her.

Always enjoyed when Mr. and Mrs. Lamb came to the bank … They would wait for me to help them when possible and she continued doing that for years even after he passed … A very sweet and kind lady and will be missed
