Marion Francis Cummins, Sr., 74, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He was born November 2, 1943, in Perryville, Kentucky, to the late George T. and Elizabeth Deering Cummins. Marion is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nina J. Woffard Cummins.He was a member of the Civil War Roundtable, a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed hunting and fishing.In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Marion F. (Michelle) Cummins, Jr., one granddaughter, Marissa Cummins, a sister, Sylvia Jewel “Tootsie” Arnold, several nieces, nephews and many friends.Marion was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Gene Cummins.The funeral service will be held Friday, July 27, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Walden Funeral Home Perryville. Bro. Jerry Lanham will be officiating and burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.Pallbearers will be Tommy Orberson, Nathan Orberson, Lee Arnold, Terry Carpenter, Travis Dean and Rocky Arnold.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marion County Rescue Squad.
