Margie Marie Meeks Lynn, 70, passed away Tuesday December 31, 2019. She was the wife of 51 years to Rolland E. Lynn and was born November 12, 1949 in Casey County to the late Shelburn and Mabel Pevley Meeks.
Margie was a member of the Junction City Church of Christ and retired after 42 years from American Greetings. She was always humming and singing and enjoyed playing guitar. She loved Bluegrass Music, fishing, and her dogs, which were all rescued. Family time was always special and she and Rolland enjoyed taking walks on their farm.
In addition to Rolland, Margie is survived by two sisters, Dorothy (Jim) Headley, Betty (Morris) Pendleton, a brother, Shelburn (Barbara) Meeks, Jr., an aunt, Renee Pevley and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Maggie Lynn, Mary Wheeler, Shelby Byrd, and a nephew, Bryan Lynn.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday January 3, 2020 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Bros. Thad Eubank and Timothy Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Michael and Jim Headley, Johnny Paul Wheeler, Sr., Johnny Paul Wheeler, Jr., George and Randy Douglas.
Honorary bearers will be Randy Douglas, Buddy Wilson, and Ernie Peters.
