Obituary for Kandy Michelle Cummins
Kandy Michelle Cummins, 49, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Kandy was born in Danville, Kentucky October 19, 1973 a daughter of Jackie and Viola Carol Johnson Cummins.
Kandy was very social, she loved being with people and making others laugh. She also, was always looking for ways to help others and be supportive of others. She was an intelligent woman who used her skills for others. She was resilient with whatever came her way in life. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jackie and Viola Carol, Kandy is survived by two sons, Eric Porter and Devin (Brandy) Carpenter, and four grandchildren, Kaidynce, E.J., Jaidyn Porter and Laken Carpenter.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday January 16, 2023 at Walden Funeral Home with David Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest cemetery in Perryville. Visitation will be from 12 – 2p.m., Monday January 16, 2023 also at Walden Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Devin Carpenter, Eric Porter, Billy Joe Bryington, Paul McCrystal, Kenny Shelby, and Billy Carey.
