Judy Carol Benge Brown, 70, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018. She was born October 2, 1947 in Danville, a daughter of the late, William and Lucille Herrington Benge. Judy was the widow of the late Charles William Brown, who passed away in 2013.Judy was passionate about taking care of her family. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren after school and enjoyed spending family time together. She also was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Kentucky Wildcat fan.Survivors include her three daughters, Sandy (Brian) Wiley, Jeanie (James) Martin, and Tina Carey; seven grandchildren, Danielle (Lee) Short, Trevor Wiley, Paige Wiley, Michelle (Brandon) Mitchell, Chad (Brooke) Yates, Carriebeth (Kyle) Griffin and Caylee Martin; seven great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Eli, Hayden Short, Bentlee Truscott, Hunter Yates, Ayden Vest, Amery Griffin; a brother Jimmy (Charlene) Benge, sister-in-law, Myrna Benge, and several nieces and nephews,In addition to her parents and husband, Judy was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles & Edna Benge and Benny Benge.The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday September 19, 2018 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Bro. Dave Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 9:00 p.m., Tuesday September 18, 2018 at Walden Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Brian and Trevor Wiley, James Martin, Chad Yates, Lee Short, and Kyle Griffin.Honorary bearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
