Obituary for James "Alvin" Lee, Sr.
Alvin Lee’s service has been postponed until tomorrow January 18, 2022.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at Walden Funeral Home with Ronnie Lee officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday staring at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00p.m. Burial will follow at Lee Family Cemetery.
James “Alvin” Lee, Sr., 84, passed away Tuesday January 11, 2022. Alvin was born August 15, 1937 in Mitchellsburg, Kentucky, a son of the late James Alexander and Rena Baugh Lee. He was the widower of the late Martha Lee who passed in July 2021. They had been married 56 years.
Alvin enjoyed hunting and fishing; however, his passion was hunting for arrowheads. He worked most of his life as a concrete finisher and was well known for his quality concrete work.
Survivors include his three children, Jimmy (Tanya) Lee, Shelia (Tony) Pike, Anthony (Micki) Lee, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Alvin was preceded in death by a brother Louis Lee.
The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday January 17, 2022 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Jr. Fields officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Family Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m.
Pallbearers will be Cody and Ryan Lee, Alex Sheperson, David Williams, Dustin Pike and Troy Johnson.
Honorary Bearers are John Pike and Gary Pike.
