Obituary for Elizabeth Jane Friedman (Wild)
Elizabeth “Jane” Friedman, 69, passed away Tuesday January 5, 2021. Jane was born August 13, 1951 in Lexington, Kentucky, the daughter of the late George L. and Mary E. Vaught Wild. Jane was also preceded in death by her husband, Harris A. Friedman and daughter, Courtney Friedman.
Jane grew up in Nicholasville and graduated from Jessamine County High School in 1969. She graduated from the University of Kentucky’s College of Education Speech and Hearing in 1973. Jane was the owner of Logan’s Security in Lexington and was a lifelong University of Kentucky Wildcat fan and an avid golfer.
Survivors are a daughter, Whitney Haughton Friedman, brother, George L. Wild, Jr. (Jennifer) and two grandchildren, Madeline and Seth Haughton.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
Expression of sympathy may be made in memory of Jane to one’s favorite charity.
Services are under the direction of Walden Funeral Home Perryville.
