Earnest Alsman, 81, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018. He was one of seven children born on August 11, 1936 to the late Charlie and Bessie Maybrier Alsman and was the widower of Sally Messer Alsman who passed away in 2011.Earnest was a farmer and lived in and around Perryville most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, trading cars, hunting and being at the lake or the Kentucky River.Survivors include eight children, Larry Calhoun, Amos (Dicie) Alsman, Mary (David) Hall, Betty (James) Slaven, Edith (Don) Hall, Wanda (Clyde) Berryman, Ernest Wayne (Jennifer) Alsman, Lois (Brandon) McQueary, 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a sister, Edith Mae Wright.In addition to his parents and wife, Earnest was preceded in death by 5 siblings.The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville. Burial will follow in Junction City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Walden Funeral Home.
