Obituary for Earl Elmore Preston
Earl Elmore Preston, 82, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023. Earl was born in the Forkland Community on June 28, 1940 a son of the late Kelly Francis and Mattie Taylor Preston. Earl was the husband of the late Julia Emma Miller Preston.
Earl served his country in the United States Army, was a member of the Junction City Church of God and enjoyed attending family reunions and the Forkland Festival, going out to eat, and volunteering for Band Competitions when Ruth was in the marching band in high School.
Survivors include, a daughter, Ruth Ann Bryan, a brother, Billy (Roberta) Preston, nieces, Genny Preston, Evelyn Honaker, Margaret Preston, nephew William Preston, and two grandchildren, Jessica Michelle Bryan and Crystal F. Bryan.
The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Walden Funeral Home in Perryville with Sister Angela Gellenbeck officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service also at Walden Funeral Home. Burial is private.
