Donna “Gayle” Pendegrist Godbey, 74, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021. Gayle was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky on August 19, 1947, a daughter of the late James Thomas and Ina J. Barnes Pendegrist.
She was a Seamstress at the former Cricketeer Sewing Plant and a member of Berea Christian Church in Harrodsburg. Gayle enjoyed working in her flower gardens, spending time with her daughters and grandchildren and solving Sudoku puzzles.
Survivors are two daughters, Kristen Tharp, Cheri (Shawn) Rousey, four grandchildren, Kelly Tharp, Dakota and Wyatt Rousey, Annabelle Roller, and three siblings, Brenda (Ronnie) Allen, Johnny (Pam) Pendegrist, and Gary (Rhonda) Pendegrist.
Along with her parents, Gayle was preceded in death by a daughter, Autumn Roller.
A graveside service will be at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the shelter of Spring Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Bro Nelson Reynolds will officiate.
Pallbearers are Dakota and Wyatt Rousey, Jamie Allen, Josh, Adam, and Matthew Pendegrist, and Justin Pendleton.
Honorary bearers are Kelly Tharp and Annabelle Roller.
