Obituary for Christopher Lee "Chris" Montgomery
Christopher Lee Montgomery, 33, passed away Thursday, May 7th, 2020. Chris was born in Danville on September 21, 1986 and was the son of Tim and Kathy Montgomery.
He was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church and was a certified welder. He was also a member of Boyle County High Schools’ class of 2005, where he played football. Chris loved to ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, was an avid Notre Dame fan, and he loved his dog, Karen, most of all.
Survivors including his parents, Tim and Kathy Montgomery, are a sister, Candace (Stephen) Lyons, two uncles, Jay Satterly, Tommy (Cindy) Satterly, two aunts, Linda (Elmer) Wells, Lisa (Jr.) Fields and numerous cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by a special cousin, Ashley Fields and a close friend Josh Lawhorn.
There will be a drive-by procession held at Pleasant Run Baptist Church from 1 - 3 P.M. on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Please do not exit your cars. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery. Chris' funeral service will be streamed on Walden Funeral Home's Facebook page beginning at 2pm Tuesday May 12, 2020. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions all services will be private.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Satterly, Jay Satterly, James William Hubbard, Jake Greene, David Bottoms, and Corey Goode.
Services are under the direction of Walden Funeral Home Perryville.
