Bettye Katherine Cummins, 81, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021. She was born in Garrard County, Kentucky on January 28, 1940 to the late Rev. Emmitt and Stella Witt Sebastian and was the widow of Earl Gene Cummins. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Carol Middleton.
Bettye was a member of the Independent Baptist Faith and worked at the Danville Senior Citizens Center, she enjoyed going to yard sales, music, visiting with friends and attending church.
Survivors include four children, Pamela Brown, Jeff (Sandra) Cummins, Donna Cummins Horton, Kelly (David) Gambrel four grandchildren, Jeremy (Hannah) Emerson, Tiffany Emerson, Gretchen (Nick) Conway, John Gambrel, four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Emma Kate Emerson, Brady Emerson, Brandon Gonzales, and a brother, Charles Sebastian.
There will be a public visitation from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Monday, September 6, 2021 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville. All other arrangements are private.
